Dr. Eyal Simchi is living proof that we do what we are taught to do. Growing up in Rockland County in a home with 10 children, Dr. Simchi learned the joy of craftsmanship from his father, a specialty craftsman described as having ‘magic hands’ by his customers. His mother is a elementary school teacher who never fails to bring a smile to the faces of her students. This home was a haven of warmth, magic and hearts that know about caring.
Dr. Simchi attended Ramapo College in Mahwah for undergraduate pre-dental, earning a 4.0 GPA and making the Deans Honor Roll WHILE completing training at Shaarei Torah Institute and earning a B.A. in Advanced Talmudic Law. He then attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School where he was elected to serve on the ethics committee. Dr. Simchi received the Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and was selected to join the NJDS Gold Club, as well as Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society. Although he excelled in prosthodontics, a childhood full of brothers and sisters established his true passion: pediatric dentistry. Dr. Simchi went on to complete a two-year pediatric dental residency training program at Maimonides Medical Center. Having completed his training, he worked in several prestigious pediatric dental offices before joining Dr. Weisberg at Smile Builders.
His accomplishments are many, although this may come as a surprise to his patients who find him quite disarming and down-to-earth. They simply know Dr. Simchi to be one of the most caring and competent pediatric dentists they’ve ever met.
Residing in Passaick, New Jersey with 4 wonderful children and his wife Rochie, who is a certified RN for Labor and Delivery, Dr. Simchi’s heart for children beats strong. Nurturing children isn’t simply what he does: it’s who he is!
