It seems that the caring, nurturing environment in which he was raised determined Dr. Michael Weisberg’s chosen profession. His father, Dr. Lee Weisberg of Cleveland, Ohio, has been a board certified pediatric dentist for 45 years. Sincere, honest and humble: this is the way his father is most often described by those who know him. Dr. Weisberg’s mother also possessed a heart for serving, sharing her special creative talents as an elementary school teacher and a mother who simply delighted in loving and caring for her children.
Growing up in an environment where both parents served the needs of children taught Dr. Weisberg the joy of serving. After 4 years of college at Kent State and 3 years of Talmudic study at Ohr Sameyach Yeshiva in Monsey, New York, Dr. Weisberg attended New York University Dental School, graduating in 2000. He completed a 1 year general residency program at Woodhull Hospital as a stepping stone to his dual specialty training. After completing a two-year pediatric dental residency at Maimonides Medical Center, he went on to complete a three-year orthodontic residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident of Orthodontics.
As chief resident he created and directed an orthodontic program for union workers through the SEIU in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Weisberg currently serves as Director of Orthodontics at the Ezres Cholim Health Center in Monroe, NY.
As a father of 4 beautiful children, Dr. Weisberg has the practical experience and common concerns shared by all parents. So each child is treated as if they were his own. Together with his wife Rorie, Dr. Michael Weisberg has established a practice with the hope that all patients will feel at home whatever their age.
